The arrival of these Chinese students is the result of collaboration with Indonesia Education Development Group (PT IED) since 2022, which is responsible for Undiksha's presence in the Chinese market. According to the published data, as of 2022, Undiksha has a total of 186 international students from China and other countries. These students are enrolled in full-time degree programs or non-degree programs at Undiksha, such as teaching internships, intensive courses, international summer schools, and student exchanges, with some of them opting to take selected courses at Undiksha. He explained, "Since the implementation of the 'Internationalization at Home' program in 2019, we aim to provide all international students with opportunities to study and enhance their academic quality at Undiksha."

In the future, Undiksha will strive to increase the number of international students and improve the quality of education, with plans to open other Master's degree programs for international students to choose from.
